Their implementation department consists of approximately 100 people where most of the operations is positioned in Gothenburg. This team is responsible for configuring, delivering and supporting Jeppesen ForeFlight´s solutions for commercial airlines. It’s crucial that the solutions that they provide truly align with their customer´s needs.

Together with your skilled team of specialists you´ll solve complex optimization challenges where the best way forward is to learn from each other and continuously improve your way of working.

In this team you will play an important role in delivering tailored solutions to Jeppesen ForeFlight´s clients and you will work closely with their clients to gain a deep understanding of their requirements and business objectives. You will be working in an agile environment to ensure a smooth implementation and development process.

Example of work tasks:

· Translate client needs into clear and technical specifications

· Configure and customize their industry-leading crew planning software using Rave (their proprietary rule-based modeling language) and Python

· Pair programming to share knowledge with colleagues

· Apply a test-driven development approach to ensure high quality solutions

· Make sure that the solutions align with both client requirements and industry’s best practices

· Present and explain design decisions and technical solutions clearly and confidently to clients

· Foster a strong long-term relationship with clients

Qualifications

We seek individuals who are passionate about learning the airline business and possess an analytical mindset and a structured approach to problem solving. You are a great communicator and likes to work with both individual task and in team constellations but most importantly you are curious and eager to learn new skills!

· Recent graduated with a Bachelor’s or Master´s degree in a relevant area 

· Programming skills in Python

· Comfortable working in a Linux environment

· Strong communication skills in English, Swedish language is a bonus

It´s a great bonus if you have any background within optimization and understanding of modeling concepts.
